Apricot Halves
Deep amber, honey-sweet, with that perfect chew.
Launching soon
Small-batch dried fruit made the patient way — picked ripe, sliced by hand, and dried low and slow until every piece tastes like the middle of summer.
The first harvest
Sample preview — the real lineup (and real photos) land with our first harvest.
Deep amber, honey-sweet, with that perfect chew.
Thick-cut and sunny — tastes like vacation.
Whisper-thin rings dried until they snap.
Whole citrus wheels — bright, bitter-sweet, beautiful.
Intensely red, intensely berry. Gone too fast.
Jammy centers, tiny crunch, old-world flavor.
Big soft slices that still taste like July.
A little of everything the orchard did best.
Our story
Every great orchard traces back to a mother tree — the one proven tree every new row is grafted from. Growers guard them for decades, because when fruit is truly right, you don’t chase something new. You keep what works, and you give it time.
That’s the whole idea behind Mother Orchard. We take fruit at its actual peak, slice it by hand, and dry it low and slow until the flavor concentrates into something worth keeping — no rushing, no additives dressing up fruit that wasn’t ready.
If the fruit isn’t perfect,
it doesn’t go in the tray.— The house rule
How we dry
No early picking, no gas-ripening. Fruit comes off the tree when it’s actually ready — that’s where all the flavor lives.
Every piece cut to the thickness it wants — thick slabs for peaches, whisper-thin rings for apples.
Hours, not minutes, at gentle heat. Sugar concentrates, color deepens, and nothing gets scorched out.
